The State of Michigan and its agents, contractors, sub-contractors, and third party service providers (collectively, "the System Administrators") are committed to protecting the privacy of registrants and users of its products and services. It is our intention to provide a safe and secure environment for MIHAN participants.
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform Site users about the kinds of information the System Administrators may gather about them when they visit the Site and describes how we may use that information. This privacy policy applies to the MIHAN Site and any Site content that incorporates this policy. Please note that this policy applies only to the Site and Site content on https://michiganhan.org/. It does not cover external web sites users may link to from the Site.
ENHANCED SECURITY
This site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt and protect data transmitted from site. Alert messages and attachments that are distributed beyond the security of the Site via unsecured email, phone or fax may be vulnerable to interception by unauthorized individuals.
INFORMATION ABOUT ALL SITE VISITORS
In general, our site automatically gathers certain usage information such as the frequency of visitors to the site. We only use such data in aggregate in an effort to make improvements to the system.
